Relief Response to the Fire Victims in NIA Road | March 8-15, 2026
3/16/2026
The Apostolic Mandate is not just confined within the four walls of the sanctuary; it is demonstrated in the streets, reaching the broken, the hurting, and the weary. Responding to the Mandate of Going Public with our Faith, our hearts were humbled to be part of the relief response to the fire victims in NIA Road, Quezon City on March 6, 2026.
On March 8, 2026, Greater Heights Christian Worship Center Family mobilized a rapid relief operation for the families affected by the devastating fire at NIA Road.
We witnessed a powerful outpouring of the Bayanihan spirit and Kingdom generosity. Aside from the church brethren, the Rodriguez Homeowners and Residents Association (RHORA), immediately brought their donations—both in cash and in-kind—straight to the church. Our dedicated volunteers labored tirelessly into the night, sorting through mountains of clothes, packing relief goods, and loading the vehicles to personally deliver hope to the community.
On March 14-15, 2026, another relief operation was organized. Spearheaded by Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, we were able to distribute a total of 670 bags full of basic commodities to different evacuation centers.
Along with the distribution of relief supplies, heartfelt prayers and genuine declarations of "God bless you po!" were released to the hearts of the people. Indeed, no act of kindness is ever too small when it brings comfort to those in need. Every gesture of love reminds them that they are seen and not forgotten.
Our Prayer for the Families of NIA Road:
“We declare peace, tranquility, and comfort over you in this difficult time. We stand with you in faith and decree the Word of God in Isaiah 61:3 over your lives—that the Lord will give you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. May His Holy Presence surround you, His Provision sustain you, and His Strength uphold you as you begin to rebuild and restore what was lost. The Lord is with you and will faithfully carry you through. In the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen.”
