GH @ 15: From Good to Great to Glory to God

7/20/2025

It was 2010, a rainy afternoon on the 4th of July—two bodies came into existence.

“Dancing, laughing, and everything in between!”

Greater Heights was birthed. There was a new breed without greed. The Body of Christ celebrated its ‘Independence Day’ from all the challenges and oppositions it encountered. The journey was rough; the trail was bumpy, but it was all winnable. In Jesus Christ, every battle is winnable!

“Let’s go to the lying-in clinic!”

Moments passed, a youth pastor gave birth to Zyri Aru—a seed formed through prophecy; a name proclaiming “LIFE AND LIBERTY!”

That day, exceeding joy and triumph filled the whole church! Two prophecies came into fulfillment. Two prophecies lived in its name–bringing life to the lifeless and declaring liberty to the captives, while holding God’s Promise to soar high like an eagle!

“It has been fifteen years…”

This year, we are celebrating our 15th Church Anniversary. It has been fifteen years of walking in God's Call and Mandate: spiritual progress, nation-building, community development, and kingdom advancement. If we are talking about figures…fifteen may not be considered as seasoned nor aged. Yet, this number speaks about faith; it speaks about growth, because this is a story marked by Explicit Obedience, Transformation, and Pursuit of His Presence.

We were never about numbers or noise. Greater Heights has always been about depth over display, purpose over performance, and calling over comfort. Through every season, God has been faithful to shape hearts, sharpen convictions, and send sons and daughters into destiny. Our hearts beat for legacy, which is not just about what we do, but who we become in the Hands of God.

“WE STARTED STRONG SO WE WILL FINISH STRONG!”

We are all set to the next chapters: deeper intimacy, higher surrender, and greater impact—not for our name, but for God’s Glory alone.

This is not the end. There are more assignments to accomplish, because God gives it to the busy people! We are raring for the greater days ahead!

“Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of faith, Who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the Right Hand of the Throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2
